Refugee aid

Requests for refugee assistance have decreased, but there are still people who need this help. Therefore, the ecumenical refugee support service in Kaiserswerth remains active. Consultations take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the community centre, Fliednerstraße 6.

Social Counseling: Since June 2026, the refugee aid team has been inviting people to the “Raum für Rat” (Space for Advice) at the K3 center of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie (Alte Landstraße 179) on the last Thursday of every month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The counselors draw on their diverse professional and personal experience to provide free, confidential assistance with questions regarding dealings with authorities, forms, contracts, and other bureaucratic challenges. No registration is required. This service is open to all citizens.
